Dr. Denise Rollins is the founder of the Whole Heart Center. But more than that, Dr. Denise is a Survivor. For her, life was shattered in 1995, at age 29 when a drunk driver killed her mother (who was 49 years young).
Dr. Denise was devastated and felt she’d “died” in that accident. While feeling sorry for herself, Dr. Denise heard her mother’s voice telling her to stop being a victim. That‘s when she changed her perspective and her approach. Despite later enduring the sudden losses of her son, aunt, and husband, Dr. Denise is not death’s victim. She’s a Survivor who honors her loved ones by helping others to learn, grow, and heal.
In working with clients, Dr. Denise discovered that people don’t only grieve death; they also can grieve life. Life changes, whether good or bad, can trigger loss, emotions, and pain. Examples include the loss of friendships, friction with other people, health changes, unfulfilled dreams, leaving a job or career, and so much more. Dr. Denise wants to help you to grasp all of your grief so that you can grow from it. Why? Because she too has experience both deep pain and deep healing.
Birthed from this pain (and the power of healing) was Dr. Denise’s purpose: helping people heal from the struggles that have created holes in their hearts so they can become whole again. In fulfilling her desire to help others live wholeheartedly, Dr. Denise and the Whole Heart team use our WholeHearteD Self-Coaching Models (Communication, Connection, Conflict Resolution, and Culture) to aid individuals and organizations in maximizing their success.
